Celebrating Earth Day!
April 22nd is a dedicated day to celebrate this wonderful round ball that is speeding through space, that we all call home.
We, at Paper Harbour, believe that every day should be Earth Day as we should continue to make it the best place to live and for future generations to enjoy!

Although the size of this planet can be overwhelming to some people, we believe if we all did small actions, great things can happen! Here is a list of what we can all do to help;
1. Limited buying bottled water only when necessary and buy one good quality reusable bottle. A good quality reusable water bottle can last for years, save you money and help the environment.
2. It’s amazing going for a walk or hike and see garbage left by humans. Not only is it unsightly and making work for someone else, but it is also dangerous for wild animals and birds. It’s something we teach our children yet some have forgotten that life lesson.
3. Walk, bike and carpool when you can!
4. Reuse is a great action! We love thrift shopping for clothes and books. It helps these thrift store owners make an income, you get some great products at great prices and it keeps it out of landfills.
5. Hang up a birdhouse/feeder for birds and plant some flowers for the bees. A splash of colour from sunflowers or marigolds can brighten your day and help out bees, butterflies and other pollinators, to survive.
This is just a short list but hopefully an informative reminder that we can all do better. Happy Earth Day!
